Answer: le-si-shin (rhymes with "magician", sort of).
5. What sign are you?
Answer: Scorpio, of course.
6. Is your book really inspired by true events?
Answer: Yes! Years before I came to work at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, a heist took place that literally shook up the security industry around the world. But, the thief was never caught and the stolen gems (opals) turned up years later in a black market in Hong Kong. The theft was real, but the story in my book about who was behind the theft is pure fiction.

Answer: At around the age of 10. But then I lost my way for a very, very long time. I am so glad to be back at it. It's never too late to write!

Answer: Yes, yes, yes, and yes!
9. Do you think you will ever get over your addiction?
Answer: It's a work in progress.
10. Do you have a favorite kind or brand of chocolate?

11. Who took your head shots?
Answer: My brother, Andy Kulchyckyj. You can check out his other work at Images by Andy K. I'm really proud of the work he is doing. We are a very tight-knit family and everyone has been so supportive of my writing and the publication of my first book. I couldn't ask for anything more from those that are closest to me. |
In Memoriam
On May 12, 2012 the spirit of my father, Bohdan Kulchyckyj, left this Earthly plane. He didn't have a chance to read the dedication I wrote to him in the forward of Theft By Chocolate, but I know his angel wings continue to be wrapped around me. He worked so incredibly hard to give me an amazing life, and aside from his unconditional love, I will be most eternally grateful for the fact that he encouraged my education. It was in school that I learned to love the written word and through my studies that I gained the confidence to write my first book. I miss him every moment.
