I'm always looking for recipes that use whole foods and healthier ingredients than in the original formulations of traditional dishes. So, I hope you enjoy this alternative pudding recipe. It's also gluten- and dairy-free. I always recommend you use organic ingredients whenever possible for more flavorful and body-friendlydishes (more easily digested by the body). And you'll be doing the planet a service. 2 avocados 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract 2 tbsp maple syrup 4-6 medjool dates (soaked in warm water for 20-30 minutes) 2 tbsp of pure raw cocoa powder 1-2 tbsp almond or seed-based butter (e.g. sesame or sunflower) 1 banana, ripe 1 tsp cinnamon Combine in a blender and mix on high until smooth. Divide pudding into cups, top with cacao nibs, cacao powder, or shredded coconut and enjoy! |
